At just 17 years old, our founder, Mounir Soliman, began his journey working in a socks factory, gaining hands-on experience and building his expertise in the industry. A decade later, in 1982, his dream and vision for something bigger took root, empowering him to turn his legacy of industry knowledge into a business built on consistent quality, efficient pricing, and transparent communication. That’s the business you know today—Moody Socks Factory.
From a tiny space with just three team members, we’ve grown into a full-fledged factory in Egypt offering private-label manufacturing and wholesale services. 53+ years later, we’re still guided by the same principles: resolve issues with integrity, prioritize long-term relationships, and never compromise on trust.
1982: Moody Socks Factory was established.
1990s: We introduced advanced knitting technology, boosting both efficiency and product quality.
2000s: We ventured into private-label manufacturing, collaborating with global brands to create customized sock collections.
2009: We shipped our first export order, expanding our reach to international markets.
2017: We relocated to a larger facility in Abu Rawash, Giza, to accommodate increased demand and production capacity.
2020: We achieved a key milestone by increasing our monthly production capacity to 750,000 pairs of socks.
2024: We initiated the construction of a new, top-tier facility, integrating automation and sustainability to increase production capacity by 4–5x.
